RMS UPPCL: Real-Time Power Theft Monitoring App
RMS UPPCL is a mobile application developed by Magnus IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. designed to combat power theft in Uttar Pradesh, India. This app enables the Enforcement/Raid Team to capture real-time information related to power theft during raids across the state. Additionally, an Integrated Raid Management Web Portal allows monitoring of post-raid activities such as offense types, FIRs, revenue assessments, and load-wise theft analysis.
By implementing this system, the department aims to analyze power theft effectively, leading to a reduction in such activities and an increase in revenue collection. This initiative aligns with the "Power for All" Scheme, benefiting honest consumers, the underprivileged, and those without connections by potentially lowering tariffs and providing connections to those in need.
